TUKO HAPA $2500 Poetry Competition - Submission

Love words? Got a way with verses? Are you a spoken- word artist, page poet or performer with something powerful to share? We are NOW accepting submissions for the $2500 TUKO HAPA Poetry Competition, featuring live performances, a formal dinner and a night of artistic brillance.

Submission Requirements

To enter, participants must complete the steps below:

1. Registration Form (Required) - Upon completion of payment - complete the brief questionaire and follow the directions provided. This helps us gather you contact information, performance details and provide necessary consents.
2. Complete payment and save, print or copy your QR code/receipt.
3. Video Submission (Required) - Submit a 1-3 minute video of yourself performing an original poem. Your video should include: Clear audio, good lighting and your full performance in a single take. Upload your video to TUKO HAPA Facebook messenger or @TUKO.HAPA on instagram messages. Please attach a copy of your payment receipt with submission.

Deadline: January 15, 2026

Event Date: February 14, 2026

Eligibility: Open to all - however, poets MUST be 21 and over
