After our first successful session at Bookavibe Cafe, we are back with the second iteration of 'Tuka Mhane'! 'Tuka Mhane' is an interactive exploration of the abhangs of Sant Tukaram through the lenses of poetry, society and personal development.
⭐ This session invites audiences to engage with Tukaram not merely as a saint, but as a poet, storyteller, comic, social critic, philosopher and observer of human life. Join us as we explore his remarkable insights into creativity, human psychology, social injustice, courage, suffering, happiness and devotion.

Through selected abhangs, discussion and reflection, participants will explore how Tukaram's words can help us better understand ourselves and the world around us.
✒️About the Presenter:
Chandrakant Redican is a poet, storyteller and cultural commentator. He has spent over a decade building literary communities through poetry slams, open mics and public storytelling events. He has translated over 800 abhangs of Sant Tukaram. Through the 'Poetry is Protest' project and '1000 Days of Tukaram', he explores how classical literature and devotional poetry can help us understand contemporary life.
