Every year, Vogelbescherming organises the National Garden Bird Count. Throughout the weekend, we spend 30 minutes every day, keeping track of visitors of all sizes and shapes - this can be done in our backyards, on balconies, even in parks and other surroundings. It's a mindful activity for kids and adults alike.
Claudia and I decided to make it a fun get-together this winter. We will meet at Sint-Jacobspark to chat, count birds and take pictures; then walk over to the Schieblock and make little zines about the birds we saw.
This is a two-part event:
