Special May and June Tuesdays with Tania: Acrylic Paint Class at Greene County Makers
Join Tania for a special nine-week acrylic painting class series this May and June at Greene County Makers.
Over these sessions, Tania will share everything she knows about working with acrylic paint. Her main goal is to help you grow more confident in the medium, discover your own artistic voice, and, even more importantly, encourage a strong independent art practice of your own.
How class will work:
You’re welcome to arrive as early as 9:30 AM to set up your supplies. Please bring your own brushes, palette, paint, canvas, and an inspiration subject to work from.
At 10:00 AM, Tania will begin with a short lesson—this may be a paint demo, a color theory pep talk, or a technique-focused talk. She’ll aim to keep this portion to around 30 minutes. After that, students will move into independent work time, with Tania offering support, feedback, and critique until 11:30 AM.
Please bring:
Your own brushes, palette, paint, canvas, and inspiration/reference material.
Provided:
Tania will make sure water cups, paper towels, and Press’n Seal are available. Greene County Makers also has tabletop easels for student use.
Please note: Tania will be taking a break from Tuesday classes in July and August, and this class series will have very limited space. Must preregister.
