Meet Your Instructor
Sakina Ibrahim is is the founder of Dance Arts Academy Foundation, a premier dance program in Orange County and Los Angeles that offers a diverse range of classes, including Creative Movement, Hip-Hop, Latin, Ballet Folklorico, and more. Her training includes intensive study at the Martha Graham School of Contemporary Dance, Bates Dance Festival, Broadway Dance Center, and immersive cultural study at the Dagbe Cultural Arts Center in Ghana.

Enjoy free outdoor dance classes in Orange County this summer on the Julianne and George Argyros Plaza. From May through August, join local expert instructors for fun, welcoming weekly dance classes designed for all ages and skill levels—no experience required. Whether you’re trying dance for the first time or looking to keep moving, everyone is invited. Seated dance movement is also available for adapted chair exercise, making this a joyful and inclusive community dance experience.
