Tuesday Evening Group Ride from Broadmarsh to Highfields and Boots

Join us for a leisurely 6 mile women’s bike ride from the Broadmarsh bus station, Nottingham, to Highfields, Boots, and back via the River Trent. The clocks have gone back, so bring lights!

We welcome women of all ages, abilities and backgrounds, we ride at the pace of the slowest rider, stop for breaks whenever you want and promise you will never be alone at the back!

TIME: meet at 5.45 ready to ride at 6pm.

MEETING POINT: meet on the pedestrianised area of Carrington Street, next to Broadmarsh bus station and the new central library. Click here for a google pin.

You’ll be in safe hands. We are qualified ride leaders and first aiders who love cycling. Before and during the ride we will be sharing all the tips and tricks to get the most out of cycling.

This ride is organised by Women in Tandem, a Community Interest Company based in Nottingham that aims to support and empower women to ride bikes. The session is funded by The National Lottery Reaching Communities Fund.

You won’t need anything fancy, just a bike that rides, lights, comfortable weather-appropriate clothing, water, snacks and some enthusiasm for cycling!
