Chile!! Winemaking began in Chile as the explorers from Spain came to the country starting in 16th Century. First receiving their wines from Spain and then developing local vineyards of the classic French grapes of Cabernet Sauvignon Merlot Carmenere and Cabernet Franc. Chile is the only wine producing country to have never suffered from Phylloxera in the vineyards allowing for great growth high volume of exports (4 of 5 bottles produced leave the country) are well priced and great shelf stackers for spur of the moment glass with a friend!

Join us for a selection & conversation about six of those wines this evening and get to know Felipe Oyarzun the local representative of Sur Valle Wine Group owned by Chile's Achurra Family since 1961 now producing wines on 13 vineyards across 7 separate valleys and one of Chile's most successful exporters.
