📌 Võistlus tpimub kahes voorus: demovoor ja finaal. Osalemine on tasuta!
📌 Demovoorus tuleb žüriile saata 2 omaloomingulist lugu, millest vähemalt üks on salvestatud videona. Demovooru saab lugusid esitada 25. augustini.

📌 Saadetud lugude põhjal valib eelžürii välja 5 bändi, kes saavad võimaluse osaleda finaalis.
📌 Finaalis on igal bändil oma kava esitamiseks 20 minutit ning selle jooksul tuleb esitada ka ühe etteantud loo cover. Lugu, mille cover tuleb finaalis esitada, avalikustatakse koos finaali pääsenud bändidega.
🏆 Lisaks peaauhinnale kuulutatakse välja ka parim vokalist, parim instrumentalist, parim cover ja publiku lemmik. Võitjad otsustab muusikutest koosnev žürii.
📌 NB! Igas bändis peab olema vähemalt üks liige, kes kuulub ükskõik millisesse Eesti kõrgkooli. Kõik bändi liikmed peavad olema 18+.

It's time to dust off your instruments, get the band back together, and prove yourselves on a real stage, because Student Band is back!
Some bands are born in a garage, some in a student dorm kitchen, and some completely by accident after lectures. No matter where your story began, anyone has a shot at taking home the Student Band 2026 title…
Registration is now officially open, with more information about the competition coming soon.
Important information for participants:

📌 The competition consists of two stages: the demo round and the finale. Participation is free of charge.
📌 For the demo round, bands must submit two original songs, with at least one recorded as a video performance. The submission deadline is 25 August.

📌 Based on the submitted entries, the jury will select 5 bands to advance to the finale.
📌 In the finale, each band will have 20 minutes to perform their set, which must also include a cover of a designated song. The cover song will be announced together with the list of finalists.
🏆 In addition to the grand prize, awards will also be presented for Best Vocalist, Best Instrumentalist, Best Cover Performance, and the Audience Favourite. All winners will be selected by a jury of musicians.
📌 Please note: Every band must include at least one member who is currently studying at any higher education institution in Estonia. All band members must be 18 years of age or older.
