Tucson Originals 2026 Pizza Throwdown and Dessert Duel

Tucson Originals returns with one of the city’s most anticipated food events: the 2026 Pizza Throwdown & Dessert Duel. Join us on Saturday, May 23rd from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at Fresco Pizzeria & Pastaria (3011 E Speedway Blvd) for a night of incredible local pizza, inventive desserts, craft beer and local wine.

This annual competition brings together some of Tucson’s top pizzerias and pastry pros for a friendly battle of flavor and creativity. Guests will enjoy unlimited samples of both pizza and desserts while casting their votes to decide who takes home this year’s Pizza Throwdown Champion and Dessert Duel Winner.

To complement the food, Barrio Brewing Co., Tirrito Farms and Flying Leap will be onsite pouring a lovely selection of local brews and wines. Tickets include three drink tickets plus unlimited tastings of pizza and desserts throughout the evening.
