🌱 Tucker Beach Working Bee – Saturday 15 November, 9am–12pmThe plants are in — now it’s time to show them some love. 💚
It’s easy to get excited about planting day, but when the natural habitat’s been lost, it’s us who need to step in and help the babies grow strong. So come join us for a morning of care — spreading dried sheep pellets and wood chip mulch to give our native plants the best start.
We’ll be doing a bit of wheelbarrow work, shovelling, raking, and bucket-carrying — all tools and gloves are provided, but if you’ve got your own favourites (or an extra wheelbarrow or shovel), bring them along!
There’ll be baking and snacks to keep us fuelled, and plenty of good company from like-minded locals.
Come out, lend a hand, and help our little ones grow into the forest of the future. 🌿
