Description
Celebrate the holiday season with Tuba Christmas, a festive community tradition that brings together more than twenty tuba and euphonium players from across the region for an afternoon of holiday music and seasonal cheer. Founded in 1974 by legendary tubist Harvey Phillips, Tuba Christmas has become an international phenomenon, with performances taking place in cities and communities throughout the United States and around the world.
Audiences of all ages will enjoy hearing familiar Christmas carols and holiday favorites performed by a mass ensemble of low brass instruments. The warm, powerful, and surprisingly versatile sound of this unique group creates a musical experience that is both entertaining and inspiring. Whether you are a longtime supporter or attending for the first time, Tuba Christmas is a wonderful way to celebrate the spirit of the season with family and friends.
