Join us for our March AstroNight at the Lubbock Lake Landmark on Friday, March 27th, 2026! In collaboration with the Museum at Texas Tech, the Lubbock Lake Landmark, and South Plains College, this special evening invites the community to explore the wonders of the night sky.The event will feature a public talk by TTU's Graduate student Konstantinos Droudakis , titled: "Astronomy in the Ancient Greek World", followed by hands-on activities and stargazing through telescopes operated by TTU astronomers and students. Weather permitting, attendees will have the chance to observe planets, stars, and other celestial objects under the dark skies of the Landmark.
All ages are welcome, whether you’re a seasoned skywatcher or simply curious about the universe, this AstroNight is the perfect way to kick off a new year of cosmic discovery.
