Join us for TSUNAGU (つなぐ: to connect), a special day to pass on the books, memories, and cultural connections that have flourished at JFT Library🌸
🦋Fold an #origami butterfly (which is also part of our logo and symbolizes cultural exchanges), share a memory or message, and help create a collaborative artwork ✨
📚💿Browse our Select Library Items Giveaway, featuring Japan-related books, manga, magazines, CDs, DVDs, Blu-rays, and VHSs in English, Japanese, and French!
For 31 years, JFT Library has been a place to discover books and #JapaneseCulture, share ideas and creativity, and build connections across languages and cultures🌎💖
As our physical library operations conclude in conjunction with our relocation, the activities at TSUNAGU are ways to celebrate the Library’s legacy and pass its stories, creativity, and cultural connections on to new readers and fellow culture lovers🙌💞
The event will take place on the final Saturday that our physical library will be open to the public.
✏️No registration is needed, but please mark your calendar!

Our public-lending physical library will conclude operations on Friday, October 9, 2026. A portion of the existing collection will be retained as a reference-only resource at our new Centre location and made available upon request. These materials will not be part of the TSUNAGU giveaway. Further details will be announced after this winter.
