Join The Scout Guide Sarasota and Buzzed & Social for the 5th Annual Caftans & Cocktails, an unforgettable evening inspired by tropical escapes, exceptional cuisine, and the joy of gathering together.
Over the past five years, Caftans & Cocktails has become one of the season's most anticipated social gatherings—bringing together local business owners, creatives, philanthropists, food lovers, and community builders for a night where food, fashion, and connection take center stage.
The evening begins with a cocktail reception in the hidden speakeasy at Mimi Brasserie and Speakeasy, where guests will enjoy handcrafted cocktails, conversation, and a few delightful surprises before making their way into the dining room.
Then, we gather.
A candlelit 60-foot feasting table stretches through the heart of Mimi, setting the stage for an extraordinary evening of food, wine, laughter, and community. Colorful caftans mingle with breezy linens. Old friends reconnect. New friendships are made. Glasses are raised. Stories are shared.
This is the magic of Caftans & Cocktails.
Guests will enjoy a collaborative five-course dinner created by Chef Anthony Double of Mimi Brasserie and Speakeasy, Chef Alex Gosselin of Chez Victoire in Montreal, and Chef Mark Majorie of Lucky 8. Each course will be thoughtfully paired with exceptional wines and craft cocktails, celebrating bold flavors, creative culinary artistry, and the simple joy of gathering around a beautiful table.
Throughout the evening, guests will enjoy island-inspired touches, fresh AMI Coconuts, interactive moments with Luxe Frame Events, and a stunning tablescape curated by So Staged. TSG Co-Owner and DJ David Warren Curran of Baysound Studios will provide the soundtrack for the evening, creating an atmosphere that feels equal parts elegant dinner, party vibes, and celebration.
Dress Code: Island Glam
Caftans & Cocktails is a celebration of color, personality, and unapologetic resort glamour. Think flowing caftans, breezy linens, bold prints, statement jewelry, and vacation-worthy style. Gentlemen, jackets and ties are optional. Linen, relaxed tailoring, tropical prints, and confident personal style are highly encouraged. Think Palm Beach meets the French Riviera—with a touch of Sarasota charm. Leave the black dress at home.
Tickets are limited to just 70 guests and are expected to sell out.
