Seminar:
Release your full potential as a tango dancer! Improve technique, comfort, and connection.
In this workshop we'll explore some areas that are typically challenging in tango. We'll bring awareness to accurate use of our skeleton - especially the spine and pelvis - to find softness and agility in the embrace, and to create patterns of movement from the ground up.
I teach using the Feldenkrais Method, an internationally-recognized, body-mind learning approach, which uniquely addresses the neuro-physical aspects of movement.
The workshop is suitable for followers and leaders, advanced or beginner dancers. No partner needed. The only requirement is to be curious about yourself and your untapped possibilities.
For this workshop please wear warm clothes that you can move in comfortably. We will work without shoes, so bring warm socks.
After the seminar we will have 2.5h of tango practica to incorporate insights and information from the seminar into your Tango. You will be guided through all your questions related to the implementation of the new knowledge in your dance, you will experience different way of mastering your usual moves and you will feel why body awareness is essential in improving the quality of your dance.
