Tría Talk #002: Pelvic Floor Health
About this Event
Tría Talk #002: Pelvic Floor Health
Join us for the second Tría Talk, our community series featuring local experts on health, wellness, and performance.
This month, Pelvic, Orthopedic & Sports Physical Therapist Dr. Natasha Fett, PT, DPT of Engage Physical Therapy & Wellness will break down one of the most important, and often misunderstood, parts of the body: the pelvic floor.
The pelvic floor plays a role in core stability, bladder and bowel control, sexual function, and how your body manages pressure during lifting, running, jumping, and other high-impact activity.
Through education and interactive floor work, Natasha will teach you how the pelvic floor should function during movement, what signs to watch for, how to release unnecessary tension, and how to train your pelvic floor and core for real-life movement and higher-level exercise.
Whether you've experienced leaking, heaviness, pressure or pain, wondered if your pelvic floor is tight or weak, are navigating pregnancy or postpartum, or simply want to move and perform better, you'll leave with practical tools you can use.
Pelvic floor health matters for every body - this talk is open to all.
The evening includes education, interactive movement, live Q&A, light refreshments, and social time in the café afterward.
Wear comfortable clothing you can move in. Mats and equipment will be provided.
Members and non-members are welcome. Space is limited, so please reserve your spot in advance.
