WARHAMMER ABERDEEN TRY SOMETHING NEW: K*ll TEAM ORGANISED PLAY EVENT

As we delve into the year further, hopefully you’ve had a chance to paint up a squad as part of your New Year Challenges and are ready to dive into K*ll Team! We will have game demos running as well as a Matched Play Organised Event on the 21st February. This is a great chance for new and existing customers to try K*ll Team and bring along a friend as part of this year's New Year challenge and Call to Arms.
What is Warhammer 40,000: K*ll Team?
K*ll Team is an action-packed game played between small teams of specialist operatives in the Warhammer 40,000 setting. These elite squads engage in intense battles wherever the enemy – or a vital objective – may be found. These are smaller, tactical games using a cool variety of Warhammer 40,000 models, all of which also have rules in the main game! In K*ll Team each model moves individually instead of as part of the unit, and have their own unique rules and objectives to achieve!
K*ll Team Organised Matched Play Event - 21st February:
For the Organised Play Event, this will consist of 3 rounds lasting the whole day; we will pre-select the missions and set up the boards using a variety of K*ll Zones in advance for you to speed up play.
It will follow the schedule as follows:
10:00am - Registration
10:30am – 12:15am - Round 1
12:15 - 13:15 - Lunch Break
13:15pm – 15:00pm – Round 2
15:15pm – 17:00pm – Round 3
17:15pm - Results & Awards
What do I need to take part in the Organised play event?
For the event, you will need:
A Matched Play legal K*ll Team
A copy of K*ll Team: Approved Ops Card Pack 2025
Rules/Data Cards for your chosen K*ll Team (Physical copy or via the app)
K*ll team core rules, any required equipment & tokens
Dice, tape measure
Pairings: We will use randomised pairings for round one, and then match you up based on your win/loss record. Sheets will be handed out on the day for you to submit your scores as we go.
Painting: K*ll Teams should be painted to a Battle Ready standard. If they are not painted then points will be deducted from your games on the day! There will be a Best Painted award on the day as well!
There will also be some participation goodies available on the day (numbers dependant!)
Try Something New K*ll Team Demos:
We will have demos running throughout the day on the 21st for K*ll Team for you to try it out! This is perfect if you’ve never tried it before; if you have your own K*ll Team, bring it along with their rules, otherwise we have a bunch of store demo teams available to borrow! These will be running from 10:30am – 12:00pm, 13:00pm - 14:30pm and 15:00pm – 16:30pm! Get in touch to book a slot for the day!
