Curious About Korfball? Come Give It a Go with Newport Centurions!
Ever wondered what you’d get if basketball and netball had a funky Dutch baby? That’s korfball – the world’s only truly mixed-gender team sport, and your new Tuesday obsession.
Join us for a free Korfball taster session on Tuesday 9th September, from 6–8 PM at John Frost School. Whether you're a sporting natural or haven't sprinted since secondary school, all abilities are welcome. We'll walk (and run, pass, shoot and laugh) you through the basics and get you playing in no time.
No kit required – just wear something sporty, bring a bottle of water, and your best game face.
And because sport is thirsty work, we’ll be heading to Tiny Rebel Brewery afterwards for a well-earned drink. Come for the Korfball, stay for the beer and banter.
