Try Hockey for Free is intended for children ages 4-10 years old who have not played organized hockey and are interested in giving it a try.
Experience with skating is ideal, although not a requirement. However, your child will get the most out of try hockey for free if they come with some prior skating experience.
Equipment available for use. Please arrive one hour prior to the start time to get your Child the proper sizing.
During try hockey, SYHA coaches will be on the ice and lead the future hockey players through fun games and hockey drills.
* only safe sport certified SYHA coaches are allowed on to be on the ice during this time, no parent volunteers.
Parents, you get to sit back, relax and watch them fall in love with the sport!
