Trusting your Buckler: a practical guide to clean fencing with Sword & Buckler ft: JJ Conlon + HEMA Arcade.

Sword and buckler as a historic martial art is quickly becoming one of the fastest growing niche's in the HEMA community, However newer and advanced fencers alike struggle with incorporating both tools to their utmost in their practice.

Waterfront Historical Fencing is happy to host JJ Conlon, a prominent practitionar, competitor and memeber of the historical fencing community for a seminar on the intricacies of this weapon set. The class will focus on helping newer practitionars to feel comfortable with the buckler and giving new tools for the advanced to become more efficient.

Gear will include single handed swords, buckler and standard HEMA protection. (Loaner gear is avalible if needed) All skill levels welcome.

Afterword, as usual, at we will be hosting Waterfont Fencing's classic HEMA Arcade open weapon tournament with fighting food and fun!!
