We are very please to welcome The Maid and Spindle to Northwest Yarns for a trunk show of their beautiful wares!
The Maid and Spindle is based in the Pacific Northwest and owned and operated by Steph Roark, data storyteller by day and indie dyer by night. They specialize in hand-dyed spinning fiber and yarn inspired by the vibrant colors of nature, as well as handmade accessories, project bags, and notions. Their deeply saturated colorways come in various breeds and blends, including BFL, Merino, and Polwarth, as well as luxury fibers like yak, alpaca, camel, and silk. They also offer custom fiber blends from predominantly PNW fleeces in collaboration with local shepherdesses and women-owned mills.
