Trunk Show - The Advent Box book/knitting project
Advertisement
We have a unique 2 in 1 trunk show for you!
Author Shannon Taylor and fiber artist Kristen Polanco met at a local Maryland craft fair. Shannon bought yarn, Kristen bought books. They discussed knitting and plot lines and how much fun it would be to make the knits that the book characters made.
And so The Advent Box book/knitting project was born.
The Advent Box is a lovely Christmas coming of age story for all ages, looking at the importance of finding your own way and your own confidence, and how sometimes the small and large miracles can help with that if we’re willing to recognize them.
Kristen is responsible for creating the wonderful patterns and fibers which are sourced from her angora rabbits, as well as Border Leicester wool from her aunt's farm in Pennsylvania.
Stop in the shop and meet these two talented women, check out The Advent Box book, these beautiful yarns and special bundled kits. See you there!
