There is often an assumption that tavern keeping was only a man's job in the 18th century--but did you know here in Dover, two women ran the largest taverns on the Green? Join us at the John Bell House from 10 AM - 3 PM for Women's History Month and learn about the two women who made their living by running Dover's most famous 18th century taverns. This program is FREE to the public.
