True Life Stories IV

True Life Stories (a Moth-inspired event) is a story-telling event for people who have stories to tell and other people who want to listen to them. Guests are invited to throw their name in the hat for the chance to tell a 5-minute story on the theme of “WORK."

Do you have a story about:

• A job you love(d)...or hate(d)?
• How you got hired? or fired?
• A time when things really worked out for you? Or didn't?
• A time when you worked smart, not hard?
• Something that happened while you were at work?
• A brilliant scheme that did...or didn't...work?

All we ask is your attention, your enthusiastic support for our storytellers, and your support of the bar (alcohol, soda, juice, water.)

Storytelling Code: R-E-S-P-E-C-T. (Aretha gets it.) Please practice civility and respect. Don’t include racism, homophobia, misogyny, or any form of hate speech. Please tell true stories from your own experiences (no proselytizing or standup please) and don’t appropriate other people’s experiences, stories, or cultures.
