Troop Mahjong Summer Soireé League

It's time to join the fun with Troop Mahjong! This social play league is all about fun and enhancing our game with some friendly competition

Troop Mahjong is coming to Boston & Worcester!

Bay State Bam is proud to be the host of the only area Troop Mahjong chapter. Troop Leader Brittany is ready to welcome you to the Mahjong Table for a four week series of league play, bringing the fun as we enhance our game and welcome friendly competition among our troop members!

This four week league will take place on Thursdays from 10 AM - 1 PM weekly, starting on July 30 and ending on August 20, 2026. Players will be asked to select their dates of participantion at check out. The two highest scores of the four weeks of league play will count towards the league prize packages.

Troop Mahjong members will be welcome to exclusive upcoming events at least 1x a month with Bay State Bam moving forward.

This league will be played according to National Mah Jongg League rules and regulations for points. Points will be collected and scored exclusively through MahWins, and prize winners will be determined based on the two highest point value days of the league for each participant. All participants must commit to a minimum of two weeks of league play. Substitutes may be sent on behalf of the named player.

League participation is open to Mahjong players of all levels. Please note that due to the competitive gameplay environment, absolutely no guidance will be given during the league play events. Want to participate but feeling nervous? Attend an open play event or arrange for a private guided play session ahead of the league start date!

Bay State Bam League Cancellation Policy: League participation is dependent on reliable, filled tables and seats for gameplay. As a result, refunds of any kind will not be issued for league tickets. Ticketholders may opt to send a replacement in their place if they are registered for a league date OR change their league date, if there is availibility to do so. If a ticket holder chooses to send a replacement, it is their esponsibility to notify Bay State Bam via email ([email protected]) as soon as possible to ensure that materials and gameplay is set up accordingly to accommodate the adjustment. Anyone sent as a replacement for a league ticket holder will earn points on the ticketholder's behalf, and their points will count towards the ticket holder's final standings in the league play.
