Maydan Market’s journey begins with Founder Rose Previte, whose global travels cooking with women and grandmas inspired the founding of beloved bar and kitchen Compass Rose in 2014, and Michelin-starred Maydan in Washington, DC in 2017. Living bicoastal between LA and DC since 2017, Rose has been immersed in and inspired by the local culinary vibrance of Los Angeles.

Maydan Market was born from a desire to build a global village that highlights the impressive culinary world of Los Angeles, creates community & helps to lower barriers to entry in the food and beverage industry. This new concept will be a home for small businesses to flourish, anchored by a live fire hearth, like its original namesake restaurant.
