The Hannibal Special Education Parent Teacher Alliance will be having a trivia night fundraiser on Saturday night, April 5th. The trivia night will get started at 6pm. We are looking for teams. A team can consist of up to 10 team members with a $10 donation per member. There will be 7 rounds of trivia questions in the categories of 80’s music (audio round); Missouri sports; superheroes and villains; famous people with autism, ADHD, or other special needs; movie quotes; famous quotes, and animals. Teams can decorate their tables and have a team name. They can bring in snacks (no alcoholic beverages), but we will also have charcuterie boxes, popcorn, soda, and water available to buy.
Besides the trivia we will have an art sale and a gift basket silent auction. Doors will open at 5pm for the art sale and silent auction. The art items will be items donated by our special education students and classrooms. If you have a child receiving a 504 or IEP in the district and you’d like to donate a piece of their artwork please let us know! We are asking for art items such as paintings, drawings, ornaments, suncatchers, and painted stationary. We are also asking for basket donations to be donated by individuals or companies. Baskets can be themed such as movies, coffee, summer, laundry, or food themes.
Funds that are raised will be going to PTO events such as our sensory friendly dance in May, our family nights, and other events we’d like to host for families in the school district.
