Trivia for a Great Cause: Harvest Time

Welcome to the ENLIGHTENMENT Trivia Night, in which you play a thematic game each time, and also play for a great cause.

For October, the trivia theme is “Harvest Time.” We’ll have Farm, Fork and Food-related questions in categories from geography and history to sports and pop culture.

The charitable cause you’ll be supporting is Three Sisters Gardens. a Native American nonprofit that does urban farming in West Sacramento. Its goal is to inspire and empower youth through gardening by teaching them how to grow, harvest, and distribute organic vegetables in their local area. Three Sisters Gardens offers CSA boxes and free events from yoga to gardening classes. It also offers youth internships and volunteering opportunities for all ages, from weeding and mulching to social media and grant writing.

Buy a Trivia Night ticket and all proceeds go to Three SIsters Gardens to buy supplies for their farming plots. And of course, you can donate directly by going to their website.

Great prizes go to the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners!

Teams of up to 6 people. And don’t worry about coming solo — we’ll pair you with other people to make up a great team.

We’ll bring beverages and appetizers. Please feel free to BYO food and nonalcoholic beverages.
