What if the solutions to the biodiversity crisis are already sitting in our classrooms?This International Day for Biological Diversity on May 22nd, 2026, we are bringing together 200+ students from 10+ schools. Triple C Biodiversity Summit 2026 is a platform that believes children and young people are not just the future… they are part of the solution NOW.
Hosted by Acopphe - Africa Community of Planetary Partners for Health and Environment under the Global Triple C Campaign (Children, Climate, and Conservation), this year’s Summit is themed:

Did you know?
- Kenya loses thousands of hectares of forest every year
- Over 1 million species globally are at risk of extinction
- Indigenous environmental knowledge is disappearing with older generations
But there is hope and it lies in empowering young people to lead, innovate, create, and protect our planet.
Here’s what to expect at the Summit:
- Student-led biodiversity innovations and exhibitions
- Creative performances, storytelling, and art
- Planting and distribution of 500 fruit tree seedlings
- Conversations on climate, conservation, One Health, and planetary health
- Youth-led research and practical environmental solutions
We are expecting 200+ students from 10+ schools coming together to showcase ideas and action for a healthier planet and healthier communities.
