Hello Trinity!Get out your calendars and get ready to add what is going to be a super fun morning event! On November 9th from 10:00am to Noon, we will be holding a Trinity Timeline celebration. We have a long role of butcher paper and will use it to create a timeline of the events that have happened here at Trinity, the events that have shaped our community, and the worldwide events that have made an impact on the lives of our members (1962-Present).
This is going to be a hands-on event. We will spend some time organizing our thoughts in small groups, and then crafting the timeline. Bring photos to place on the timeline and start collecting your memories. You can type them out to tape on the map, or you can hand write them during the morning. Of course, as you share your memories, more memories will surface, and we will fill the timeline. With so many artists in this congregation, I invite you to use your imagination and creativity to make our timeline a thing of beauty.
We will leave the timeline on the wall of the family life center and will invite our congregation members to continue to add to it until our 60th anniversary of the consecrating of the sanctuary in January. A video will be created slowly panning along the timeline, so we can share with friends and family who have moved away.
