New Fall Sermon Series: Difficult People — How to Love People Who Are Hard to Love
As Christians, we are called to love our neighbors—but what do we do when those neighbors are difficult? This four-week series explores how the Gospel of Jesus Christ both frees and equips us to love those who are hard to love—whether family, enemies, or people who are very different from us. By examining how Jesus interacted with difficult, diverse, and even unloving people, we see His example and learn how His Spirit empowers us to walk “the Jesus Way,” blessing others even when it’s challenging.

Big Idea: When confronted with chronic negativity, we are often tempted to despair or respond with our own negativity. The Gospel reminds us that our joy is not rooted in circumstances or others’ approval but in the unshakable reality of Jesus Christ. This frees us to engage with others without letting them steal our God-given peace.
