The Freedom Riders North Idaho chapter Trina's Ride choose two recipients this year because there is a great need to help both. Our first recipient is 19 year old Stevie Sauter. Stevie was diagnosed with Blue Cell Ewing Sarcoma, a rare, aggressive and very painful form of cancer. Stevie has been undergoing treatment at Sacred Heart Children's Hospital getting chemo treatments for this rare form of cancer.
Second is Celeste Sulger. Celeste is fighting Colon Cancer and finds herself in the gap between not being old enough for Medicare, and making slightly too much to qualify for Medicaid.
Our event will start and finish once again at Smokesmith Bar-B-Que who has again, generously offered their facility.
Besides the ride, the non-riding public are invited to come to Smokesmith around 5:00 to have some of the best Bar-B-Que you can get and participate in both the live and silent auctions as well as the various raffles.
We hope to see those who ride for the ride and non-riders to help support these Bonner County residents who are fighting the good fight. All money raised will go directly to the recipients. We also hope to gather auction items from the community as well.
