Trina Meade is one of Atlanta’s most beloved and respected live performers, captivating audiences with her powerful voice, authentic storytelling, and decades of musical experience.
Her love for music began early, inspired by her father’s singing both at home and in church. “My spot was in Daddy’s arms after church, listening as people thanked him for his song selections. Music has always been part of who I am.”
After moving from Indiana to Atlanta in the mid-1980s, Trina quickly became a fixture on the city’s vibrant music scene, performing with some of Atlanta’s most prominent R&B acts before helping lead the alternative rock bands Stereo Popsicle and Three5Human, recording five albums together.
Throughout her career, Trina has toured and recorded with an impressive roster of artists including TLC, Pebbles, Babyface, Indigo Girls, Michael Franti, OutKast, Stevie Wonder, Fishbone, Michelle Malone, Blind Boys of Alabama, and many more.
Now, Trina is preparing to release her highly anticipated debut solo album, Ashes, slated for release in late 2026.
