Inviting ministry leaders to this trauma-informed education presented by Fair Haven RCC, to benefit ministries shepherding hurting people. This one-day seminar is hosted by Immanuel Presbyterian Church in Schererville on October 13, 2026 from 8:30a-2:30pm.
Our goal is to build a stronger, more compassionate response to trauma and create a safe place for healing.
This seminar is open to pastors, ministry leaders, and volunteers who want to respond with wisdom, grace, and compassion to those impacted by trauma. Through practical teaching and meaningful group discussion, participants will be better equipped to serve with trauma-informed care.
There is no fee for this training. Please register to confirm your attendance. A taco bar lunch and refreshments will be provided for $10.
In preparation of sharing, you can bring a copy of your ministry procedures and policies for handling disclosures or traumatic incidents. A ministry resource table will be available so please bring your event flyers and ministry brochures for collaboration in better serving the community together.
