About this Event
Welcome to TriCon: The Trident Conference for Speculative Fiction, Halifax’s new conference for writers of speculative fiction. This event invites writers to participate in three days of panels, workshops, lectures, and readings designed to help develop, nurture, and inspire their writing and publishing careers. TriCon combines the geeky fun of a traditional SFF convention with a focus on providing space, resources, and tools for writers at all stages of their careers, including the chance to connect with our world-class Author, Agent, and Editor Guests of Honour!
TriCon will offer a diverse slate of lectures, workshops, panels, readings, pitch sessions, blue pencil sessions, and more. Sessions will be booked continuously from 1pm-5pm on Friday, 8am-5pm on Saturday, and 8am-1pm on Sunday over several different rooms, with after-hours and satellite events planned as well.
