👻🌲 Calling all woodland weirdos, trail goblins, and outdoorsy legends… it’s time to eat like kings and hike like questionable decision-makers… IN COSTUME.
We’re bringing back the cookout chaos from last year's MEAT & MEET… but this time with a spooky twist. After we feast, we hit the trails looking like a bunch of woodland creatures who made some very questionable life choices.
🔥🍔 THE PLAN:
We cook. We eat. We regret how much we ate. Then we hike it off in full costume like the absolute icons we are.
🎭🌲 COSTUME RULE (don’t make it weird… or do, actually do):
Your costume needs to be outdoorsy themed. If it belongs in the woods, on a mountain, in a river, or on a questionable survival show… it counts.

If you show up in something random like a vampire… I mean… we’ll allow it… but you better be a vampire who hikes.
⚠️ IMPORTANT PSA:
If your costume involves:
• stilts
• full body latex
• zero visibility
• or something that will get you airlifted out of the woods
…maybe rethink your life choices.
💵🔥 FOOD + SITE DETAILS:
• $5 to reserve your spot (same as last time)
• Once we have enough interest, we’ll lock in the site
• Potluck style… bring something to share 🍽️
• I’ll coordinate the food list in a pinned post like usual
🍔🌭 WHAT TO EXPECT:
• Grillin’ and chillin’
• Good food, good people, questionable costume choices
• A group hike after we eat (yes, you are hiking in costume… choose wisely 😏)
• Probably some light roasting of each other… lovingly, of course
🔥🍔 Food + Chaos Plan (yes, we’re doing this again):
Alright listen up, woodland creatures… this is a cookout AND potluck, not a “show up and hope someone feeds me” situation.
We’ll have designated grill masters working their magic, but everyone else is responsible for bringing something to contribute. If you eat, you bring. Simple. 😏
🌭 Grill Crew (our brave souls):
We’ll need 3 cooks like last time. First to sign up gets the spot, so if you want in, claim it fast. 🔥
We’ll also need grills again, so if anyone has one and is willing to bring it, speak up and you will be everyone’s favorite person that day. 🙌
🧾 The Plan:
• Everyone signs up to bring an item
• I’ll post a food coordination list once we get enough people
• This prevents 47 desserts and zero actual food
🥗 What to Bring (ideas):
• Burgers / hot dogs / buns
• Chips, dips, sides
• Pasta salad, potato salad, baked beans
• Veggies, fruit trays
• Desserts, cookies, brownies
• Drinks (water, soda, etc.)
• Plates, napkins, utensils
🧃 Important:
Bring enough to share, not just your personal snack stash you plan to guard like a feral squirrel.
🎃 Also… bonus points if your dish somehow matches your costume.
Do you HAVE to? No.
Will I judge you (lovingly) if you don’t? Also no.
Will it be hilarious if you do? Absolutely.

To lock in the site, we’re doing the same as last time. It’s $5 to reserve your spot. Once we have enough people paid, I’ll book the location.

• This helps us avoid last minute drop offs and no shows
