This will be our 5th year shutting the Pee Dee Ave. down from Miller to Ridge St. for trick or treating. Trick or treaters are free to safely stroll down the street. It has grown every year and this should be another great one for everyone.
The barricades will be put in place from 5:30pm to 9pm. Vehicles can cross Pee Dee at 6th, 7th and 9th/Cotton, but cannot drive down the street. If anyone tries to move the barricades please kindly ask them to go around. If you or your neighbors need to get in or out please just put the barricades back in place after you’re past them.
Parking for visitors is available on street on adjacent blocks to Pee Dee and off-street at the parking lot at the end of N 5th St and the grass lot on Morrow.
This event is not City sponsored and no one has to participate, but we sure hope you do. The decorations get better every year as do the kids and their costumes. You can expect anywhere from 600-1000 trick or treaters so plan accordingly with the candy.
