The weekend of Nov. 1/2 we will hold two Launch Party Tournaments for our newest Jersey Jack games Harry Potter and Willy Wonka. These tournaments are separate events and results in one do not effect the other. Tournament 1 - Harry Potter Launch Party
Time: Saturday Nov. 1 @ 1pm
Cost: $1 IFPA Fee
Format:
Qualifying - Beat the Clock Matchplay using modified Critical Hit cards.
Details:
At the start of the tournament players will sorted into four houses using IFPA rank and Slaughter pairing (the highest ranked player will be placed with the lowest ranked player, the second highest placed with the second lowest etc.) - At the end of qualifying, all players from the house that scored the most points during qualifying will win a prize. The Top 2 players from each house will move on to Finals. At the start of the tournament all players will be given two spells that they may use during qualifying that may alter play by changing the assigned game, swapping players, or even shortening or lengthening the qualifying cutoff time. The base cutoff time is 5pm.
Finals - Single Elimination Wizard Battle
The Top 8 will face off in a head-to-head wizard battle. Each player will be given one random spell that they may use during Finals.

Tournament 2 - Willy Wonka Launch Party
Time: Sunday Nov. 2 @ 1pm
Cost: $1 IFPA Fee + $5 OR $5 worth of Candy
Format: Candy Bounty Strikeout
Details: This will be a Strikes Elimination Format. At the start of the tournament each player will be given a candy bounty worth ~$5. Players will be placed in groups of 3-4 and the bottom 2 players in a 4-player group or bottom 1 in a two player group will receive a strike. When a player receives 3 strikes they are out and must forfeit their candy to the player that received 1st place in their knockout game. Play will continue until one player is left.
