Tribute to Fallen Soldiers would like to invite all veterans and the entire local community to join us at our annual 'Military Appreciation Kickoff dinner' at Roaring Rapids Pizza on Thursday, July 9, 2026.Each summer prior to our annual Tribute to Fallen Soldiers Memorial Torch Motorcycle Ride we hold this annual 'Military Appreciation Kickoff Dinner' to thank and honor all of our veterans and active duty personnel.
This Military Appreciation Kickoff Dinner is open to the public, however if you're a veteran or active duty service member you will receive a 20% discount off your pizza meal anytime during the day on July 9, 2026.
This is our 'Red Carpet' affair between the hours of 4:00 pm and 10:00 PM where all guests will be greeted by uniformed service members from the Army, Navy and Marine Corps. In addition to the meal discount, the red carpet and active duty military personnel, we'll also have military displays on hand for the kids.
And at 6:00 PM, the 'Fallen Soldiers Memorial Flame' will be officially delivered to the 'Red Carpet' for display and photos. There will be an organized motorcycle ride scheduled to deliver the Fallen Soldiers Memorial Flame.
ALL motorcycle riders wanting to be part of this Memorial Flame escort can meet and stage at American Legion Post #83 - 3650 River Road - Eugene, OR. Staging begins at 5:00 PM.
This is a wonderful event for ALL people, but mostly for our veterans who served our country proudly.
Please join us for dinner anytime during the day. This is an extremely worthwhile event to thank all of our veterans for their brave service and sacrifice to our country.
