🍿 Our centerpiece tribute celebrates the career of Oscar-winning sound designer Ben Burtt who has been a leader in his industry for nearly 50 years. Perhaps best known for his pioneering work creating the soundscape for the original Star Wars trilogy, Burtt has worked on such blockbusters as E.T., Raiders of the Lost Ark, WALL-E, Munich, and Lincoln. Burtt will participate in an onstage conversation about his storied career followed by a special screening of WALL-E, a film he was not only instrumental in crafting but one for which he voiced the principal character.
🎬 Academy award-winning sound designer Ben Burtt will participate in an onstage interview at 6PM and answer questions following the 7PM screening. This event is presented in cooperation with the Petaluma Cinema Series at Santa Rosa Junior College.
