For the 3rd Year, Daniel Johnston fans have come together to raise awareness about mental illness with the help of talented local musicians (see list below). We'll again have a curated selection of vendors (see list below) & raffle items. Cult Classic is a great venue to hold this event, with their dialed in acoustics & plenty of space (not to mention tasty food & bevs). $15 suggested donation collected at the door. Skribe (Annapolis arts legend) started this event & has enlisted help from Joe Martin (fellow arts legend) & Speak Your Truth Crew to make it grow. Come on out & make this one the biggest yet!Daniel Johnston was an enigmatic, prolific, & talented musician & visual artist whose mental illness caused many hardships. Despite these struggles, Daniel continued to create & perform, leaving a lasting mark on the world. His loved ones started www.hihowareyou.org to honor his memory & stop the stigma of mental illness. Profits from this event go to support HHAYP.
