The Tribal Cup is Galway's only "Friendship Taekwon-Do Tournament", where all the local and visiting schools can compete together in a friendly and fun environment.This event is great as an introduction to competition for the newest members who will be grouped with other competitors of similar age and grade. Of course, ALL grades up to Black Stripe are catered for.
The divisions for all U-10 in sparring are kept to a maximum of four, thereby guaranteeing each competitor a medal. There will be three different events to compete in on the day which results in a lot of medals being won. Everyone can take part from 5 year olds upwards, incl seniors (age 35+). There are even KUBZ divisions, based on the KUBZ syllabus.
If you don’t have sparring gear, you will be lent it on the day, just have your own mouth guard!!!!
Start TImes:
* Age 8 and under: 10am
* Age 12 and under: 11.30am
* Age 13+: 1pm
Registration (€30) will be possible 30 mins prior to start time. Discounted pre-registration (for Schools, not individuals) by April 20th is available via email. Family rates (3+) available.
