TRIATHLON: (Age 14+ (OPEN ALL)

• OLYMPIC TRIATHLON: 1500 M Swim - 40 KM Cycling - 10 KM Run

    (cut-off: 4 Hours 30 Minutes after Start)

• SPRINT TRIATHLON: 750 M Swim - 20km cycling - 5km run

    (cut-off: 2 Hours 30 Minutes after Start)

AQUATHLON: 

• 2000 M Swim - 10 KM Run (cut-off: 2 hours 45 minutes after Start)

DUATHLON: 

• 10 KM Swim - 40 KM Cycling - 5 KM Run (cut-off: 4 Hours 30 Minutes after Start)

TRI2CHAMP- OWS (SWIMATHON):

Open Water Swim: BEGIN

• 0.5 KM: Fun Category (Beginners Edition)
• 1000 M: 9-18 19-39 40-59 60+ (Cut-off 30 Minutes)
• 2500M: 12-18 19-39 40-59 60+ (Cut-off 2 Hour 30 Minutes)

STANDARD OLYMPIC: OPEN ALL (AGE 14+)

• 5000 M: OPEN (Cut-off 3 Hour 30 Minutes)
• 10000 M: OPEN (Cut-off 6 Hour)

For Special Needs Physically Challenged & Differently Abled:

Note: The Special Categories are open to swimmers who are Physically Challenged have Intellectual Disabilities (ID Open) or are categorized as Differently Abled / Special Needs.

• They can participate in the 0.5 KM 1 KM or 2.5 KM Swimathon categories.
• Participants under these categories are not eligible to register for the 5 KM or 10 KM Swimathon events due to safety and endurance requirements.

Coach Registration Requirement:

• Participants in the Physically Challenged / Intellectual Disability Open and Differently Abled / Special Needs Swimmers categories must swim with a registered coach and swim along with them.
• Swimmers aged 9 to 14 years must register along with a coach and must swim under their supervision.
• A separate registration process will be available for coaches accompanying these swimmers.

• Only one discount code can be used per participant (except the Early Bird offer).
• Early Bird Discount (10%) can be combined with any one other discount.
• Group discounts cannot be combined with individual special discounts.

Event Highlights and Participant Facilities:

MAY 23rd - Pre-Race Day (Tentative):

• Athlete check-in Bib and Race kit collection from 11 AM to 6:00 PM. (tentative).
• Practice swim (6.30- 9 AM). (tentative).
• Mandatory athlete briefing
• Please note that on-the-spot registrations will not be permitted on the [Pre-Race Day & race day]

 MAY 24th - Race Day (tentative):

• Tentative Flag-off timings are as follows: after the sunrise 5:00 AM to 6:30Am.
• Tentative Event closing Time 3 Pm

Swimming Safety Measures:

• We have best Lifeguard / Boat / SUP & Kayak team for Open Water Safety.
• The swim course is an example of sea swimming on a tide beach with a rectangular course (200-300 meters up 300-700 meters to the left 200 meters down). Please note that the course is subject to change based on sea conditions on the race day prioritizing participant safety.
• The race is open to participants from age 9 to maximum age.
• Medical facilities will be available on the course and at the finish (if required).
• Post-race physiotherapy sessions will be held for participants (if required).
• Adequate hydration and nutrition stations will be available on the course for athletes.
• This is a traffic-controlled event for triathlon.
• Participants will receive good-quality event t-shirts (Extra cost) and goody bags.
• Finisher medals will be awarded to participants who complete the race within the cutoff time.
• Trophies will be presented to open for selective category and age group category winners.
• Post-race refreshments will be provided to all participants.
• Event volunteers including safety lifeguards and medical team will be available for the event.
• All races will be electronically timed and participants will receive digital certificates post-race.

Refund Policy:

• No refunds will be issued under any circumstances.

*Mandatory Accessories:

• Garmin/Strava/previous race files (Or) take a video of swim in open water lake/sea send to the co-organizer will be accepted as confirmation of swim capability. (or) Join the regular weekend camp to get approval and improve you swim
• Swimmers must have swimming goggles and caps.
• Swimming suits/trunks/tri-suits/wet suits are required.
• Tow floats (swim buoys) are mandatory for all distances. If needed please contact/message us.
• Medical Fitness Certificate / Waiver Form (submit these documents to the organizers on or before Race Day)

Medical/Insurance/Waiver's Submission

Athletes must submit the following documents to the organizers on or before Race Day for TRI2CHAMP - 2025 - CHENNAI: Medical Fitness Certificate / Medical/Travel Insurance Copy / Waiver Form

Note: Failure to submit these documents by the deadline will result in disqualification from participation on Race Day.

Event Information: Terms and Conditions

1. Covenant of Good Faith and Fair Dealing:

• Tri2champ is committed to conducting its services with honesty and fairness.

2. Event Cancellation:

• Tri2champ reserves the right to cancel the event due to various reasons including forces of nature medical necessities or safety concerns.

3. Refund Policy: In case of event cancellation

•  Tri2Champ will adopt the "best possible refund policy" for participants. In case of event cancellation efforts will be made to refund fees fairly or Our Team will defer the registration to our next upcoming event.

4. Organizers' Decision:

• The organizers' decisions are final and binding in all event matters.

Race Kit Collection Requirements:

• Participants must personally collect their race kit during designated times.
• Knowledge of race number is necessary.
• Verification of participant information is required.
• Failure to collect the race kit within specified times results in ineligibility.

Documentation for Swimmers:

• Swimmers must carry a valid photo ID.
• For minors (under 18) a parent or guardian must also provide ID and an authorization letter.
• Guardians must be physically present with minors on the event day.

Consequences of Non-compliance:

• Failure to follow race kit collection rules leads to disqualification.

Requesting Assistance:

• Swimmers in need of rest or water should signal the nearest kayak for assistance with a flotation device.

Identity Confirmation and Consequences:

• Participant identity and age will be verified using registration information.
• Providing false information or documents for eligibility may lead to registration cancellation and no fee refund.
• Violators may face temporary or permanent bans from future Tri2champ events.

Acknowledgment:

• By registering for this event participants acknowledge and accept all the above terms and conditions.
