Drawknife is a collaborative modern folk duo based out of Athens, Ohio. Inspired by many different genres and old time roots, Drawknife has sounds ranging from heart wrenching banjo ballads to driven guitar tracks. Lead by songwriter Kyle Lyons on banjo/ guitar, he is accompanied by decade long musical companion George VanFossen on upright bass. Harvesting the musical shavings off the creative ether, they continue to produce an eclectic sound of all original music.
