Trek, Track & Connect: Family-Friendly Nature Stroll & Storytime

Join Tiny Green Learning and Open Trail Collective for a family-friendly nature stroll along the Beaver Marsh boardwalk as we trek, track, and connect with the changing season.

Together, we’ll move slowly and keep our eyes (and ears!) open for animal friends — beaver, otter, ducks, geese, muskrats, and more.

As we wander, we’ll pause for a cozy storytime and take time to notice the small but powerful signs that spring is on its way:

🌱 Swelling buds in the trees

🌿 Skunk cabbage emerging from the wetlands

🎶 Birds returning in song

Reminder: It is MUD SEASON (the perfect time for looking for animal tracks🐾).

This play date is designed for families with young children who want to get outside, move their bodies, and practice the art of noticing together.

What To Bring:

• Weather appropriate outdoor clothing & shoes
• Water, snacks, and anything basics your little one might need
• We will provide light snacks

What To Expect:

• Nature-based play opportunities
• Opportunities for families to explore at their own pace
• Time to meet other families who love nature

Things To Consider:

• Children who cannot walk should be carried.
• This trail is wheelchair accessible and stroller accessible.
• This trail is busy on nice days , including bicycles.
• This is a public park, other visitors and/or dogs will be present.
• You are responsible for your child at all times.
• Parking can be limited on-site on nice days, but there is additional parking at nearby trailheads and at Howe Meadow.
