A life-changing cause meets the best ride of the year at Trek 100 Texas

Trek Bicycle Company, in partnership with Cook Children’s, will be hosting the second-annual Trek 100 Texas at the Coyote Drive-In in Fort Worth, Texas, on Saturday, September 20. This incredible charity ride not only brings riders together to raise funds in support of Cook Children’s fight against pediatric cancer – it also packs in the party, with mind-blowing rest stops, incredible food, music, and four beautiful routes for any kind of rider.

Last year, the inaugural ride kicked off with over 1,000 participants who rode and raised $109k for Cook Children's. This year, Trek aims to make it bigger and better, with all-new routes and rest stops packed with surprises.

THE RIDE:
The ride begins at 7am at the Coyote Drive-In in Fort Worth, Texas, and finishes right where it started with tacos, live music, and an incredible party. Riders of all abilities and experience levels are welcome. Participants can choose between 8, 30, 64, or 100-mile rides. All rides depart from the Coyote Drive-In and make their way through fully stocked rest stops that keep the party going from start to finish.

THE CAUSE:
Trek 100 Texas provides crucial support for Cook Children’s fight against pediatric cancer. Cook Children’s is more than a health care system – it strives to be an extension of a child’s family, growing with them from their first steps to adulthood.

The Cook Children’s Hematology and Oncology Center treats infants, children, adolescents, and young adults with all types of cancer. Each year, the center treats 270 new cancer diagnoses in addition to the more than 600 patients currently undergoing treatment with Cook Children’s. Every child’s journey with pediatric cancer is unique, and there’s no such thing as a one-size-fits-all course of treatment.

Funds raised through Trek 100 Texas help Cook Children’s provide more world-class treatments, clinical trials and research to kids battling cancer in North Texas.
