"I grew up in Cd. Juarez and El Paso. I played guitar in

hardcore and punk bands in the metropolitan border

growing up with friends. My huge shift towards

electronic and dance music started when I watched

Soulwax play live at this club called Moroccos. This

event triggered my love for the dance/rave culture on

the border which was very rich in the 2000s and on.

My most formative years as a dance music producer

took place in Cd. Juárez/El Paso from 2008-2013.

I am now based out of Austin,TX. My music project

under the name of TREJO has been running for 5 years

now. I've had the opportunity to perform at some of my

favorite clubs and venues here in Austin such as The

Mohawk, Empire Control Room, Plush, Coconut Club,

Neon Grotto, Outer Heaven Disco Club, Chess Club,

Hotel Vegas as well as the underground gem,

The Oven."
