We’ll wander around Cherry Grove Farm meeting some of the magnificent medicinal trees on this land - Magnolia, Spruce, Elder, Mulberry, Witch Hazel. Participants will then choose one of these trees to sit with and you will use all your senses - observation, smell, touch, feel, taste, and intuition - to explore and discover more about your chosen tree. You will make notes on your sensory perceptions in the form of words, phrases, drawings, poems, stories, songs, dance or any creation you come up with. We’ll then discuss some traditional uses of these trees and, if we wish, we will share our own observations, creations and intuitions. We will end with making a vinegar or tincture from a tree to take home.
