This year we are activating 4 more garden spaces in the 1st District! My intention as a master gardener with K-State Research and Extension is to get you the knowledge it will take to get us more sustainable as a community starting with our food systems ! This is my first official year so educating the community is imperative in my training as a master gardener ,so Thank you! We are a grassroots initiative so bring your own tools (if you have them) your water ,some gloves, and a friend. Prepare to be in the sun, and dirty. We have sunscreen and bug spray.
-We rarely enter the private residences , making sure we are as nice and helpful as possible.This year we will be introducing ourselves to the community and all of the bustle of the greener way of life. The social dynamics of the neighborhood need LOVE! Saying hello 👋 , wearing your name badge ,remember we are serving a vulnerable community and it’s important to travel in pairs or partners when canvassing the community being sure to offer gardening education and the plethora of resources we need to see the green!
- There are restrooms at chd boxing.
The schedule will/may change as the temperatures and weather fluctuate.

🌳Currently Tentative depends on sign ups, weather , and supplies . Staying active in the Facebook chats is the best way to contact the group as a whole. We be everywhere 😂

Dinner 6pm featuring a community driven meal in the spaces we are serving
