During the Tree Talk we will discuss how to pick the right tree for the right area, how to select a tree at nursery, plant the tree, tree pruning and fertilization. This will cover shade, ornamental and fruit trees. During class we will walk around the 6 acres of Eastside Orchard to view the almost 100 different types of trees and shrubs that have been planted in the last 5 years. Each class will be $20 or all three for $50. All proceeds from these classes will go towards the DeeAnn Denney Memorial Girl Scout Scholarship Fund. Classes will be in the barn behind the old brick house with the black pipe fence @2506 Peters Road Crosby. Parking is in the gravel parking area, back by the barn, the front yard, and the driveway. Don’t forget to bring a camp chair and water to drink.
